Three Canadian Provinces Issue Nominations in Latest PNP Draws
British Columbia, Manitoba, and Prince Edward Island have recently released nominations for the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). This program allows provincial governments to select economic immigration candidates who are best suited to establish themselves economically within a province. Being nominated by a province strengthens a candidate’s application for permanent resident status in Canada.
Candidates can apply directly to a PNP program (base nomination) or be selected by a provincial government through the Express Entry application pool (enhanced nomination). Successful candidates in getting nominated by a province through the Express Entry application automatically receive an additional 600 Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points.
