Travel to Canada
As Canada starts to slowly ease travel restrictions, as of October 20, 2020, some designated learning institutions (DLIs) are now able to reopen to international students who aren’t currently in Canada and who
- have, or have been approved for, a study permit
- are travelling to Canada for a non-discretionary or non-optional purpose
To be able to reopen to international students who aren’t currently in Canada, DLIs must have a COVID-19 readiness plan approved by their province or territory.
Is your DLI on the list?
If you have applied to, or are planning to apply to a school in Canada you can find out if your school is on the list HERE
If your DLI isn’t on the list yet, check back regularly to see if it’s been added.
Please only make travel plans when you have obtained authorization to qualify to go to Canada under the new rules.
