| February Draw In February 2021 the province of Saskatchewan invited 541 candidates to apply for provincial nomination. Federal Express Entry system The Express Entry Pool is one of the mechanisms the Government of Canada uses to manage the applications of individuals who want to apply for permanent residence. Express Entry applicants are scored on factors that include: -Age -Education -Language Skills (English or French) -Work Experience The Government of Canada frequently selects top-ranked candidates and asks them to submit an application for permanent residence. February 2021 Draw Provinces can also choose applicants from the Express Entry Pool. In February, the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program invited 344 Express Entry and 197 Occupation In-Demand candidates. Saskatchewan uses a points grid, where applicants receive points on the basis of the following five factors: -education and training; -skilled work experience; -language ability; -age; and, -connections to the Saskatchewan labour market and adaptability. Express Entry applicants with a minimum of 72 points were invited to apply. |
