Ontario Masters Graduate Stream – Program Re-Opens
In some exciting news, Ontario has recently re-opened their immigration program – The Masters Graduate Stream:
Ontario is home to a wide variety of academic institutions with top-tier post-graduate programs where more than 65 per cent of adults hold a post-secondary credential.
In order to support world-class research and innovation taking place across Ontario, Ontario has re-opened the Masters Graduate Stream.
The Masters Graduate Stream provides international students with Master’s degrees obtained in Ontario with an opportunity to become permanent residents.
Under this program, applicants can live and work permanently in Ontario. The province can nominate individuals who have the education, language ability, and other characteristics to help them successfully establish themselves in Ontario.
Applicants do not need a job offer to apply.
This is exciting news for recent graduates and for those who are looking forward to studying a Master’s degree in Ontario.
Institutions in Ontario that offer Masters programs include:
- Brock University
- Lakehead University
- Queen’s University
- Wilfred Laurier University
- Trent University
