In the latest updates from the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP), four draws were held from October 23 to 29, 2025, inviting over 1,100 candidates across various provincial immigration streams and initiatives.

Details of the Streams
The majority of invitations in this round (900) were granted through the Alberta Opportunity Stream for this provincial immigration. This specific stream targets temporary foreign workers who are employed full-time in Alberta and possess a qualifying job offer from an eligible local employer. The Dedicated Health Care Pathway is designed for individuals with offers in qualified health care professions. Furthermore, the Alberta Express Entry Stream – Law Enforcement Pathway serves candidates who have job offers from members of the Alberta Association of Chiefs of Police. This pathway was introduced to assist local police services in achieving their recruitment goals.
Additionally, the Alberta Express Entry Stream – Priority Sectors pathway focuses on professionals in the construction industry who have listed an eligible occupation in their Express Entry profiles and may have corresponding job offers.
