| Ontario Express Entry Draws On August 26th the province of Ontario invited 703 Express Entry candidates to apply for permanent residence. How the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) works This program is for workers who:have the skills, education and work experience to contribute to the economy of Ontario want to live in Ontario, and want to become permanent residents of Canada. Ontario has its own “streams” meaning immigration programs that target certain groups or workers who want to apply for permanent residence. Human Capital Priorities Stream The draw on August 26 targeted Express Entry candidates with work experience in one of the following occupations: Financial managers Advertising, marketing and public relations managers Corporate sales managers Financial auditors and accountants Other financial officers Professional occupations in business management consulting Registered nurses and registered psychiatric nurses Allied primary health practitioners Dietitians and nutritionists The list above represents priority occupations for Ontario.
